The Texas Rangers traded outfielder Kevin Mench to the Toronto Blue Jays on Friday for cash. The 30-year-old Mench has spent the season with Triple-A Oklahoma after failing to make the Rangers as a non-roster invitee in spring training. Sexson Suspended Six Games

Richie Sexson was suspended for six games for charging the mound and throwing his helmet at Kason Gabbard last night. He’ll probably appeal, so he won’t begin serving the suspension right away, but I doubt it gets reduced much - his reason for charging the mound sucked and he used his helmet as a weapon. Six games sounds like a gift, honestly.

The M’s will have to adjust their bench when the suspension hits - there’s no way they can possibly go with Miguel Cairo as their first baseman for a week unless they’re trying to get fired.

Official MLB rules question

The official rules of Major League Baseball are available on their website here.

However, does anyone know if there's pdf version available? They have several other documents available in pdf format, but I've yet to see the official rules that way.

If anyone has seen that, please let me know where to get 'em. Thanks.
