Get out the broom breakers, because the Miami Marlins are looking to bust up a sweep.

The Fish look to prevent themselves from being swept by the New York Mets in Citi Field, and their prospects of avoiding a sweep lie at the hands of Ricky Nolasco and the team's so-far futile offense. With Giancarlo Stanton and Justin Ruggiano out of the lineup, the Fish are almost barren in their offensive capabilities, but the team still put up something of a fight in yesterday's 4-3 loss, and hopefully they can do so again today against Chris Young.

Ricky Nolasco may be on his best stretch of pitching of the entire 2012 season, but it does not mean that Marlins fans should not be concerned. Since August 5, Nolasco has thrown 54 innings and has a 3.33 ERA, but his 34 strikeouts are still low (14.6 percent since then). The confidence of the Marlins faithful in Nolasco has always been tenuous, and right now, that still should be the case.

Remember how Chris Young gives up a ton of fly balls and is prone to the home run? That is all well and good, except the Marlins are currently lacking in the home run power with Stanton and Ruggiano missing from the lineup.

Lineup

No lineup yet, see the game thread for more details closer to game time.

Bold Prediction: Marlins def. Mets 4-3
