Gordon's and Hosmer's BABIP and The Shift

For Fangraphs, I looked at the effect of the shift on BABIP. For the small sample size, a player's BABIP is suppressed by 40 % points on average compared to their xBABIP.

The shift looks to be the next big shift in baseball.
