According to multiple reports, Ted Lilly and Ryan Theriot have been traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers for Blake DeWitt and two minor league pitchers ... Brett Wallach and Kyle Smit.

The Cubs sent $2.5 million along with Lilly and Theriot.

Blake DeWitt will be added to the Cubs 40-man roster. With the subtractions of Ted Lilly, Ryan Theriot and Bobby Howry in the past two days, the Cubs 40-man roster stands at 38 players.
