From Ken Rosenthal (hat-tip to MLBTR):
Two players Yankees would love to have: Dunn, Soria. Nationals' price on Dunn exorbitant. Royals would need to be overwhelmed.
I'd be happy with either addition, especially Soria because I believe the pen is a this team's biggest issue right now, but Rosenthal makes it seem that the price for either would be ridiculously high. If that's the case, I suspect the Yankees will stay away.
Soria is has 25 saves in 27 chances and has an ERA of 2.31 and a WHIP of 1.14. In 35 innings he's allowed 9 earned runs on 31 hits, walked 9, and struck out 43.
Dunn isn't walking as much, but overall he's having a monster year. He's hitting .288/.372/.588 with 22 homers and 59 RBI.
