Illinois is going to be a very popular play today. That more often than not causes me to consider the other side, but not this time. The Illini are on a roll and I expect them to stay hot as they take on a Northwestern entry that has all kinds of injury issues. Off the recent big wins, this might be the type of spot where Illinois could go flat. But with a major revenge factor from the earlier pasting delivered by the Wildcats, I can’t see that happening here. I can’t consider a big play on Illinois as there is absolutely no value at this number. But I’ve gotten paid by this team a couple of times recently, so I don’t have much of an issue supporting them again today. Make it Illinois minus the points for the Sunday comp opinion.
