From the Wire ... Milton Bradley Traded to the Mariners
for Carlos Silva

According to reports out of Seattle and from ESPN Chicago, Milton Bradley was traded to the Seattle Mariners on Friday for Carlos Silva.

Updated - 12:34pm C.S.T. - According to a report from Bruce Levine, the Bradley for Silva deal is done ... and is waiting on approval from MLB.

Carlos Silva is owed $25 million over the final two years of his contract ... while Milton Bradley is owed more than $21 million over the next two seasons.

Updated - 12:44pm C.S.T. - According to a tweet from Paul Sullivan, the Cubs will receive $9 million from Seattle. The Mariners end up paying the Cubs $6 million to off-set the contracts.
