It has been debated over which version of pitcher WAR (FanGraphs or B-Ref) is best for valuating pitchers. The FanGraphs version uses only FIP stats (K, BB and HR) to evaluate pitchers while B-Ref uses their runs allowed. The new change at Fangraphs shows where the difference is between the two.
For example, Luke H has a 2.5 WAR using RA and 9.2 using FIP. The big difference is that Luke has -5.7 LOB wins (he allows an above average number of runners to score).
