Well, the Astros lost again tonight, and unfortunately that is something that we Astros fans are growing accustomed to. The good guys kept this one close until the end, but were unable to get the big hit to take the lead. Disclaimer alert: This is going to be short because I just caught bits and pieces of tonight's game and did not watch it all.<\p>
I have to admit that I wasn't thrilled about tonight's recap. I'm a pitching fan and I had a hard time getting pumped up about Armando Galarraga taking the hill tonight. I guess you could say that he performed better than expected as he was able to limit the Nat's to three runs in his five innings pitched. How he was able to allow only three runs while giving up six hits and six walks is beyond me so I guess I have to give him credit for that.<\p>
The bullpen did there part tonight and pitched four innings while only one unearned run. Xavier Cedeno and Rhiner Cruz both pitched perfect innings, and Chuckie Fick allowed two walks and one hit in his two innings of work.<\p>
The Astros put together a little rally in the ninth, but they fell short. As a whole the offense had nine hits and drew two walks, but weren't able to do much with all of there traffic. Altuve and Maxwell were the only two with multiple hits, and Altuve was the only player with an extra base hit. Houston's newest member Brandon Barnes collected his first hit as a major leaguer tonight.
